Web Design Projects:

The look of your site sells your level of professionalism. With a strong design and an intuitive navigation system on the Web, these things will not only be impressive to look at, but fun to use. Making a great experience for the audience will increase the amount of time they spend on your site, increase their level of confidence in your business, and thereby increase their desire to work with you. The look and feel is important so it’s imperative that we dedicate a sufficient amount of time and attention to this phase of the process. In order to design a site that you feel good about, it’s important for us to know a good deal about you and your business. We aim to achieve a look that accurately portrays your point of view, your manner of conduct, and most importantly the message you want your audience to walk away with. Once we have a good feel of how you want the World Wide Web to view you, we will create a series of thumbnail drawings to present to you on the basic design. These are generally small, non-detailed drawings giving impressions of designs and layouts. We will not include any write up to accompany it, we will speak with you to help further ideas and concepts that the images represent. Once a few of the preliminary sketches catch your eye, we will take them back to the drawing board for some refinement. The next set of layouts presented to you will contain your company information that you will supply to us that we will edit and develop so search engines will pick up your website. We’ll review these more detailed drawings and possibly come up with more ideas to implement. Hopefully we’ll walk away with a single design that we will then fully render to use as the layout of your website. Enhancing your web site with a new logo and other marketing materials, such as corresponding brochures, business cards, folders, etc., will add the finishing touches to your entire process, making for strong corporate identity.

What we’ll need from you:

  • If you’ve come across website or materials that you like, we’d like to know about it. This will allow us to see design elements that you like and help us design something that you’ll enjoy. ·

  • Tell us about your company. Do you prefer an easy going or more formal design? Are you more interested in comfort or function? Have a favorite color? Anything you can add will help us develop the site to reflect you or your business.

  • Do you have any ideas already forming concerning the layout and design of your site or materials? Do you see any particular color themes? Would you like something that shows off elegance and formality or would you rather see professional yet relaxed?

  • Any photos you have of your company, products, services, etc. that are even remotely connected to your business are appreciated.

Detailed written, in word format, descriptions of each page of your website

What we’ll do:

  • Review all your answers and get a feel for the type of graphic elements that will accurately reflect you and your business.

  • Draft proofs for you to review which will ultimately lead to the final design of your site

How long it will take:

This can be a somewhat lengthy process on both sides. Take your time to try to provide as much content as you think might be useful. Once we have all of that, we’ll start designing. We’ll contact you within three to five days with rough drafts for you to look over. Once you make approvals and rejections, we’ll start the process over with the next set of design. We would allow this step two to three days as before. Once your final design has been selected we will begin working on the active version for completion. Overall, this step could take anywhere between two to three weeks. Much of it depends on the coming to a consensus on an acceptable design, as well as scheduling availability to review work. Given the size of the project, the length from start to end is difficult to measure exactly, as it can vary from project to project. Generally, development time does not exceed one month.
